FEZANA news 9 It was a bittersweet meeting with the past committee and new
committee joining to hand off old projects and begin a new term. I have
Zarathushti Association been so lucky to have such amazing role models and leaders such as
of Quebec Faranak Firoozi and more recently Dolly Dastoor to guide me these past
years. Our past committee was rich in wisdom and experience and
Executive board committee contributed their precious time to give back and ensure succession
within the Zoroastrians of Quebec. Most served many terms and have

Aazeen Irani - Vice-president their families and work on other projects. I thank Evrad Jal, Rohinton,
Khushnuma Daruwala - Secretary Firooza, Zabrina, Faranak and Dolly, from the bottom of my heart, for
Farhad Fereydoonzad - Treasurer two wonderful years working together. I hope to continue to receive their
advice and support.

I have learnt so much and am very much looking forward to working with
our energized, talented and optimistic team to serve our community.
Please do read the article below introducing each of them. We are
motivated to make positive change and get more community members
involved in enriching our activities and growing our association. One of
our main objectives over our next term is to continue to work on getting
the next generation involved and engaged.

I welcome any advice and suggestions as well as look forward to
growing community participation for everyone’s benefit.
