CONDOLENCES

IN MEMORY OF MME. GOLESTAN ZENBEHNOOSH, 91 YEARS

Dear ZAQ members,

As you may have heard, in January a Zarthushti lady Mme Golestan Zenbehnoosh died
in Maimonides Geriatric Care Center. As she had no relatives in Montreal, the geriatric
center contacted ZAQ for funeral arrangements. In Quebec if there is no family to claim
the body, the police get involved. Thanks to Afshin Irankhan who diligently contacted her
relatives in Iran and her private Curator in Montreal, the body was finally released. The
funeral service was held at Rideau Memorial Funeral Home on February 15 2015 by
Ervad Gev Karkaria and the cremation was done on February 17. 2015.

Thanks to all who showed sympathy and their desire to help ZAQ hold a Zarathushti service. Special thanks
to Afshin, Aptin, Ervad Gev, and Dolly who helped to make the funeral arrangements of this Zarathushti lady
as smooth as possible

May her soul rest in Garothman Behst.
